I wear one when I want to appear slimmer - that's it. The Belly Bandit is a heap of whoo-hah if you ask me.
IMO - There are two ways you get your abs back:
1. You didn't have a separation and it naturally goes down, you diet you exercise - and you have your abs back.
2. You have a separation and you rehab it back by strengthening your transverse abdominus and you are diligent for as long as a year or more and then you get your abs back.
Some stupid band does NOTHING - this is my second and I wore one the first time, didnt' the second time and my stomach measurement is EXACTLY the same as last time at this stage.
If you're talking bella bands? I have a use for it - cut two holes and voila - you have a hands-free pump bra. Got this idea from another poster on here - works GREAT.

Ooh, good idea! I have 2 that I barely used and was trying to figure out what I could do with them.
