CS ladies. ? about glue. TMI

What did you do when the glue started peeling off? My instinct is to leave it alone but its just hanging there in bits. Do I gently scrub? Do I cut the hanging parts off? Leave it? Its gross.

  • Baby oil or olive oil should get it off fine.

  • If it doesn't come off in the shower, I would leave it until your next doctor's visit.  My c/s had steri-strips and glue, and I was told to gently wash the area, but do not scrub, and that the strips would fall off on their own.  It took about 10 days.  I had staples with my gall bladder surgery - 20 years ago... so, I can't help with that experience.  <GOOD LORD, that makes me feel OLD!Surprise>
