How many bags of stuff do you have? I feel like a freaking bag lady.

I want to buy hooks for all of our bags for the mudroom area. I counted up the bags and here is what I came up with that we use on a daily or weekly basis: my laptop bag, my purse, my gym bag, ds's preschool bag, ds's "diaper" bag (he's PT but I still carry a change of clothes, toy, snack and epi-pen when we go out), pool bag (has all our sunscreen and pool toys - we go to the neighborhood pool 3 x week), tote with all my reusable shopping bags. Seriously...that's a lot of bags.

ETA: forgot about my lunch cooler tote...that one gets used daily too

  • Purse, pool tote.

The reusable shopping bags live in a bin in the trunk of the car.

DS doesn't go back to school until Labor Day-ish, but he has a small tote bag that the school gives them.

  • Gym bag (daily).

Lunch box (3-4x weekly for L)

Pre-k bag (but we don't use it anymore)

    Daisypath Wedding tickers
  • None. I carry no bags. Sometimes a purse that stays in my car, but it's just as easy to put the stuff in my pocket.

I use the soft cooler the most--park, long walks, etc.

I'm so glad I'm past the diaper bag phase.

The shopping bags stay in my trunk.

  • I'm a bag lady.

I have my purse, wristlet (for church, diaper bag stays with the twins), small diaper bag, B's backpack (in his room for the summer), library book bag, N's ballet bag, bag of reusable bags, and usually a bag or two hanging there of something that needs returned/dropped off to someone.

We have a space inside our back door where we have two rows of 4 hooks each...the kids can hang their own coats/bags on the lower, and H/I's go on the top row.  It's fairly organized. ;)

Good reminder about the coats. It's so hot here I would have forgotten about hooks for them too. We also have a library book bag because it's the only way I can keep from losing them. Damn. I need a bigger wall.

  • I don't pack, I stash.  We have a box in each trunk with wipes, diapers, pull-ups, change of undies and clothes for all the kids, changing pad, tissues, plastic bag, even those to-go toilet paper rolls.  I can't stand having to think about what to pack/grab every time I leave the house.  I also put the reusable grocery bags back in the trunk after they're used, because otherwise, I'd forget them.
  • We have sooo many bags.  Pool bag, diaper bag (really there are several depending on what we are doing - backpack, nicer bag, etc), purse, soft cooler, boys backpacks during the school year, and then a market-tote basket that I use to keep things contained in my car (library books, retail coupon file folder, things to return, mail that needs to go out, etc).  We keep our tennis bags in the garage.

  • I hadn't even thought about this until you asked. I guess we do have a lot a different bag. Lets see : regular purse, work purse, during the school year backpacks, pool bag, beach bag, ballet bag, soccer bag. I know I am forgeting something here....

  • Daily:

My purse (large tote style, inside is all my work stuff and my lunch bag)

    DD's Diaper Bag

DH's Work Bag (tools, lunch, etc.)

    Weekly:

    All of the above

Add DD's "clothes bag" (my mom has me bring a week's worth of outfits because I bring DD to her in her PJs).

Add 1 backpack per older child (my stepkids stay with us on the weekends and each have a backpack of toys, books, whatever).

Add 1 pool bag with swimsuits, towels, sunscreen etc.

I usually joke that I feel like we're moving out of our house any time we have to go anywhere with the three kids.  It's crazycakes!

  • Purse, DD's backpack for summer school, pool bag for swim lessons, small diaper bag and gym bag. We hang them on hooks in the mud room. I also have a shelf for shoes so we set stuff on there too-small diaper bag usually. Our reusable grocery bags are on top of the shelf in the closet in the mudroom.
