Loveland/Mason area ped or primary care that are "green"

Hi ladies,

I cannot for the life of me use this site's search function, so I apologize for a question most likely already answered.

I am new to the area (we're staying at the Nantucket apartment complex for the next few months) and looking for an excellent and kind pediatrician or primary care physician who supports natural remedies, especially non-vaccinating for our 7 month old son.

    You may be able to find a pediatrician who supports some natural remedies but I haven't heard of one in the Cincinnati area that will support not vaccinating your child. Because vaccinations are recommend by the AAP you probably won't find many physicians to go against that.

    You might be better off looking for a family doctor that practices holistic medicine.  Like pp said, you will have a hard time finding any pedi that will support patients opting out of vaccines.

    While most doctors will not openly advertise that they are accepting of selective vaxing or non-vaxing patients there are some that are more than happy/willing to treat your child. I will send you a PM.

    For peds specifically, Dr Drasnin... https://www.esdpeds.com/

    We see Dr. Leanza at Springdale Mason Pediatrics.  We have been extremely happy with him and have never wanted to see anyone else.  We follow Dr. Sears alternative schedule and he has been nothing but supportive of it.  We have not spoken with him about non-vaccinating, but he is always very informative and has good response backed up with facts when we have questions about different vaccines.  I can't recommend him enough.  You can also set up a new patient visit with him to discuss any questions if you are wanting to decide if you would be interested in going there or not.  Their Mason office is on Mason Montgomery Rd, just north of Deerfield Town Center, so that is close to you.  www.s-mpeds.com

    We go to Dr. Drasnin in Milford (also has an office in Hyde Park). We have been extremely happy with him after switching from Group Health in Kenwood. He is very open and lets us choose what we want to do. We havent got any vax since we have been with him (its been a year). He is very supportive and relaxed.

    /hijack... is Dr. Drasnin kind of old? That name is familiar...I think he may have been MY pediatrician when I was growing up (in Milford). Wild! :)

    Thanks for all the suggestions!  Dr. Drasnin seems great, but probably too far away from us here.  Too bad :(

    The Dr. Drasnin who practices now, took the practice over from his dad.  So same family?just different doctor.  We also see him and have nothing but great things to say about him (and his practice!)
