Lately Ive been wanting salads with creamy dressings and pizza sauce. I try to eat veggies and dip them in the low calorie dressings or just let myself eat ceasar salad (which I never really liked before)
Im not really into the foods I used to like either which I find weird!
Anyone struggling with anything food related?
Re: What are your cravings and are you allowing yourself to give into them??
I hadn't gone through a drive through four years prior to pregnancy. Went to McDonald this weekend & Arby's 3 weeks ago. I'm keeping Fiber 1 bars in my car, so when in need and want to go with my craving, I pull that out.
I have not been eating. Nothing sounds good. A few times I dream about food and have to have it. This morning I woke up craving cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and I'm definitely getting it. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be like my other cravings, where I want it so bad and it doesn't live up to my expectations.
With my being sick all the time, I wrote in my blog the other day, when my body lets me eat, I feel like a champion.
I am addicted to Fiber one until I found out they are supposedly not good for you during pregnancy. Just passing on the word.. (I still have practically a whole box of fiber one brownies in my cubbard)

Great - another thing on the list
THIS!
I crave anything that doesn't make me want to vom.
I haven't actually thrown up yet, but the way I am feeling I think I would feel better. FH is worried because I am eating ritz and saltine crackers and not much more. Gatorade is a staple. I've tried a few things and I literally cannot swallow it. Blech, hope this goes away soon. I am trying to stay positive that a) I am 3 weeks past my last pregnancy which ended in m/c so I've passed that milestone and b) I had NO symptoms at all with the m/c so I guess if these feelings are any indication I am VERY pregnant...lol.
The only things that I have craved so far has been chicken shawarma and ice water (which is wonderful thing to crave as I normally don't like water)
I decided that this pregnancy I would give into my cravings (unless its like every single day, ridiculously expensive or something really unhealthy like eating butter by itself).
My theory right now is whatever actually tastes good/sounds good, I'm eating it! I have lost some weight due to nausea so I'm not stressing about weight gain right now. Once I'm feeling less gross I will try to eat a more balanced diet. I am trying to make sure I get enough fruits/veggies in just for nutrition

I was craving this exact meal and had it for lunch- it was the best thing ever! Hope yours is good too

I am craving anything Mexican food. And (sorry Nory!) but I want a Chipotle burrito so bad I could scream. I will have one in 2 weeks when I go to the big city for my niece's b-day. I eat a lot of chips and salsa, and DH and I stopped at the little (authentic) taco stand in town yesterday.
Umm, and Cheetos. What the heck? Usually I hate Cheetos. I am eating some right now!
Soft pretzels! I found the copycat recipe for Auntie Anne's online and am going to attempt to make them this weekend. (Will be much cheaper than buying one everyday!)
With DD all I wanted was McDonald's cheeseburgers and chocolate covered doughnuts, so I'm glad the craving this round isn't as fattening!
One minute i am starving, then the next nauseas. Im also wondering if anyone else feels sickly full after half a meal? I used to be able to eat everythign on my plate. Now if i do that i feel horrible and to full. I am only 6 weeks.
I've been feeling this way too. Super hungry, then I eat too much (an amount that wouldn't normally be too much) and feel too full and yucky. I need to learn to just eat frequent small meals, but when you're so ravenous, it's hard to stop yourself!
Early on I was craving salty stuff like pickles. Now, I'm more into sweets. I know I shouldn't have, but I had a whole lot of sugary sour candy last night, oops! Boiled eggs also always seem appealing, and fruit, I think because I'm thirsty all the time and fruit is wet (generally).

I'm the same way (9 weeks, 3 days in). I am lucky if I eat 75% of what I used to eat, and even then, it takes me at least twice as long.
I am frequently starving and then I get 5 bites in and I'm stuffed! No wonder I've lost 3 lbs in the past 3 weeks!
I am desperately craving french toast right now. It sounds soooo yummy!
I think I may try to make bagels tomorrow. I've never tried to make them before and they're a favorite around here.
