Beco compared to Ergo?

Is there anyone who can tell me the similarities/differences between these two carriers? I've found a bit of info, but would like to hear first hand opinions. If you have one or the other, will you tell me what you like/dislike about it? Thanks!

fwiw, I have tried an Ergo, but not a Beco. There were some things I liked about the Ergo, but I don't know much about the Beco. TIA!

eta:looking more specifically at the Beco Butterfly II.

In my experience (I own both Ergo and Beco Gemini), the body of the Ergo is shorter and wider. I prefer the Gemini because DS fits in it better.

I tried the Ergo before I bought a Beco Gemini. The Ergo was a bit too low on me, basically felt too big. I am 5'3" and normal weight. I love the Gemini and have used it every day since DD was 3 months, still use it. The flaps that fold in worked well for inwards carries when she was small and still work for forward facing. For me it was a bit more sleek in the design too, I don't need a pocket and I liked the Natalie flower design.

I own an Ergo and tried the Gemini this weekend. Not a fan. DD is 14 months, and already it was lacking in giving her good ergonomic support (carrier stopped a few inches from her knees, leaving a bit of a "dangle") ... it certainly wouldn't work for us as she gets taller, and I want my SSC to go a bit further into toddlerhood. If you were a mom of a three-month old, I could see preferring the Gemini for this reason, but the Ergo has worked for us (with the infant insert) since she was two weeks old.

I have the BB2 and find it to be very comfy. I feel like I can get her on my back without a lot of hassle, and she feels secure back there. I have hiked in the BB2, worn around the house, shopping, and have practically stopped using our stroller since getting it.My mom even played putt putt with LO on her back in the BB2.

I also own a RS and a MT. The RS is nice for popping in and out of the car, but the MT is getting to not be as supportive - hence getting the BB2. I looked at an ergo, but felt like the BB2 was going to be better for us in the long term.
