Pain under ribs?

Well technically it's not directly under my ribs, but it's hard to explain exactly where.

I have a pretty sharp pain - Almost like a charley horse (worse when I stand up) on my left side about 3 inches under my ribs - Kind of on top of my baby bump.

Is this normal?  I didn't experience it with Mads and I'm wondering if it's something to be concerned about.

    If it were your right side I'd be concerned (liver) but the left it's probably just everything being smashed up.  On your left you have a larger part of your heart, you lungs and then at this point your stomach is being pushed up into that area as well.  If it becomes constant or really unbearable I'd call the doc just to see if they have any advice to relieve it.

    I thought the same thing (but change liver to gallbladder). I had quite a few weird pains with T that I didn't have with E. I attributed most of them to extra stretching in my muscles and a bigger baby.

    It's trapped gas. drink a ton of water and it'll help it move along.

    I get that from time to time.
