Judge my name

We like the name Catherine, and have thought about calling her Catie Sue.  We just can't decide how the MN Sue would be...

Catherine Sue
Catherine Susan
Catherine Susannah

What do you think?  Do you have another suggestion for Sue?

TIA! :D

Re: Judge my name

  • I love that name, too!!  Except I would spell it Kathryn.  I love Kathryn Mae; Katie Mae.  We have a lot of Katies in my family, though, and my Aunt Katie already told me I shouldn't name either baby Katie.

ETA: I like the sound of Catherine Susannah.

  • Just Sue sounds great! Especially with a long first name. But it's whatever you like best or is the full name has special meaning. Catie Sue sounds really cute! :)

  • So I don't know your last name, I'm only putting together some names (so if I get it right, it's just by chance!)

I like Catherine Sue Brown/Smith/White/Jones.  I think if you put a name like Catherine Susan or Catherine Susannah it's a lot of name then a little name.  I dunno.  I also don't really like Catherine Susan at all... they end the same, so it doesn't flow to me.  Like my niece - Gemma Isabella.  I hope that makes some sense.

  • i like just sue. the rest sounds too complicated, especially if you have a very simple last name. and i'll have to get used to catie being spelled with a c instead of a k. i've never seen that before and its throwing me off. but catie sue sounds really cute.
