Volunteer doula/donation

We are using a doula who is currently getting her certificate for our daughters birth in August. While it was not in our budget to hire a doula I would still like to pay her for her time.

Is there an amount you ladies would recommend? or would you base it on how long I was in labor?

    I would wait to decide an amount after your labor/delivery. Will she make a postpartum visit? If so, I would give it to her then.
