...and by doctor's orders I have to eat four donuts a day for three days before coming in to do the three hour. How interesting is that???

I only missed the mark by two points, so I am hopeful for the three hour. I'm not stressing about it because it's not the worst thing that could happen. But, I am chuckling to myself because I get to eat donuts!

Weird... did your OB say WHY they want you to do this??

I went nuts for doughnuts in my first tri, but the thought of eating 4 of them 3 days in a row makes me want to vomit! I dont understand why they would have you do this?

She said it was carbo loading to see how my body handled all the sugars and carbs. Apparently it helps to give a pretty accurate look at what is going on in a short period of time.

I have never heard of anything like that before but where do I sign up? lol I wish my doctor would tell me to eat donuts.... as well as cookies, ice cream, and fudge! Hope everything turns out okay and definitely enjoy those donuts!
