PSA: Rumble Strip

Not really a PSA- but kind of?

My LO hates the car. We went to DH's parents and she screamed the whole hour there. On the way home she screamed for a half hour and then fell asleep. 8 minutes later DH hit the rumble strip. Well, it was a long 22 minutes after that.

Don't hit the rumble strip

hahahaha! Don't mean to laugh but I can totally see this going down since my LO isn't too fond of the car either. Not to mention, DH loveeeeeeessssss the rumble strip. We haven't hit it yet with LO but i'm sure it's in the near future. I will keep this in mind.

Thank god DS loves the car, because a transport truck went over into my lane on the way to drop my mom at the airport, and I had no choice but to hit the rumble strip.

We were only 40 minutes into an almost 2 hour drive. It would have been a VERY trying drive if he hadn't slept right through it.

I'm thankful DD passes out every time in the car- to get to her 1 week pedi appt took 2 1/2 hours when it should have been a 30 min trip (there were major roads closed due to the flooding which forced everyone onto the 1 route). That was already a stressful drive which would have been way worse if she was screaming!

I feel your pain. Callie hates the car too. I thought babies were supposed to love car rides, wth?!

My LO loves the car for the most part, but the second I have to stop at a red light, or for traffic, etc he wakes up and screams his head off. I have found myself planning my trips around rush hour times and stop signs.
