Ameda Purely Yours Double Electric Breast Pump
Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump
Medela Pump In Sytle Advanced Breast Pump with Metro Bag
Any idea what the difference is between the 2 Medela's? Is the difference significant?
Thank you TTCAL and IF board.

Thanks for responding.

I have an Ameda, I love it. I would recommend getting a hands free pumping bra like Simple Wishes (on Amazon)
Here's a link to why I'd never get a Medela pump. I've seen this more than a few times:

Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
I have a Medela that was given to me, but if I were purchasing, among those options, I'd get the Ameda. It's a more closed system so less chance of mold in the motor, and Medela as a company is kinda icky and they refuse to follow the WHO code. More info about that can be found here: https://justwestofcrunchy.com/2011/01/19/the-problems-with-medela/
I rented and LOVED the Hygeia pump. They offer a longer warranty than any of the other companies (3 years) which I think is awesome.
If I were having twins, I'd get the freestyle so you are not tied to a cord. It's hard enough to deal with pumping + 1 kid. If I'd known I'd be EPing, I'd have gotten the freestyle.
I have two PISAs - tthe only difference in what you list are the types of bag they are built in to.
I've had EXCELLENT customer service from Medela, including replacing my pump no questions asked overnight, and I like that I can easily get replacement/extra pieces at Target.
Love my Freestyle. And I relied on the Symphony rental from the hospital to get my milk in and for quick pumping sessions the first month.
