today's my due date and while i'm not hell bent on pushing this baby out before s/he is ready, i'm hoping to avoid medical induction. planning on a romantic night with my hubby (wink wink) to see if that does anything and the doc said she could strip my membranes on thursday if needed. my sil has become very close with her mid wife and they have some cases where castor oil has helped the ball get rolling. anyone here try it?
I have and I dont know if it was a coincidence but it worked. Tastes terrible though! I actually took it down with kerns apricot juice because I was over a week late and the juice hardly helps because the density of the two liquids varies and they are immiscible.
There is that, or parsley... In fact, I wrote a whole big post on it a short while ago... medical inductions vs natural encouragers... you might be interested in it.

just read it. thanks so much. the reminder at the end was probably the most important-stay relaxed. i'm doing my best!!
My friend who has a one week old had castor oil on hand since she was a few days "late" but she was hesitant to take it because her MW said it can cause dizziness and my friend is prone to motion sickness.
