Mom moment :)

I had a total I'm turning into my mom and it's a good thing moment today...

Tonight K was having a rough time at bedtime.  I went in, picked her up and she snuggled right into my lap.  I got her to relax by stroking her hair, just like my mom has always done for me when sick or sad.  Now I just need to make sure I don't start buying strange things at garage sales or leaving cryptic voicemail messages...or the transformation into my mom is complete..

Anyone else have a good mom moment?

    Oh ya, just had one. Hailey screamed in the car. I told her that if she screamed again she was going to have to ride on the roof. Haha the god with the bad.

    Ha, so cute! I sing the same songs to Max that my mom sang to me. I love hearing him sing them now!

    lol, I just water (or should I say SOAKED) the lawn not because it need it but because then it isn't dry if any random fireworks land on it.  Just like my mom does every year around the 4th of July.  I didn't even think about what I was doing until I was half way done. hehe. :-)

    My mother used to stroke my hair when I was younger.  And I am now like my mother being that I do not like to drive a car any longer--I let my husband drive--my Honda Civic got stolen a couple of years back in Queen Anne--just have not recovered yet.  

    We are almost to the point where Aidan can walk--just not yet.  And we are almost to finger foods---still getting yucky teddy bear look--it is a good moment when I can find out what he does like and just feed the little dude.

Brown spotting, Beta 3735 11/25/09, Beta 5602 11/28/09. Anticardiolipin Antibodies now negative, still on baby asprin. On 100 mg of Prometrium (progesterone) until 10 weeks. Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK! Noelle Elizabeth born 4/30/12. Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God.

    It?s funny that you bring up stroking LO?s hair. Out of habit I tend to stroke LO?s hair while she is nursing and I noticed this past weekend?s that if I didn?t do it she would reach up an rub her own hair like I do, it was very cute to see.
