Guess who has been up and down the stairs 10 times in the past hour, finally thought that DD was asleep only to have a siren come screaming by? That would be me. I guess on the bright side, if we ever needed some sort of emergency help, you know that they would be hear pretty quick since they are an 1/8 mile away. : /
Re: Hate sirens.
The firehall is literally in our backyard here (there is one house's yard between us and it).. but Eve does not even seem to notice when the big siren (the one to "call" the firemen) goes off in the night.. she just sleeps through it.. Bothers us more than her.. she also doesn't notice the trains that go by on the tracks not far away that make the house vibrate.. She calls the siren "Mr. Noisy" when it goes off during the day.. so that she's not scared of it or anything..
