I know this has been asked a million times but after buying and falling in love with Trader Joe's Honey Apple Butter, I am interested to see if there are any other little gems I am missing.
What are your Trader Joes staple items?
Costco? Try anything new that you love?
Re: Shopping Poll (Traders and Costco)

Soy creamer (it has a hint of vanilla and is pretty awesome)

spinach, blue cheese, pecan salad in a bag
coffee!!
fruit flakes
dark chocolate covered pretzels
Great post A, I was just going to ask the same thing. We have swim lessons this week so I need some quick meal ideas for after class.
At TJs my staples, are the frozen garlic/basil/cilantro. Frozen green beans, the salsa verde, pizza dough, pizza sauce and cheeses....oh and wine of course LOL !
trader joes staples for the kids: apple-banana or apple-carrot crushers (perfect snack for on the go!), gluten and dairy free frozen pancakes, veggie sausages, freeze dried bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, squeezable yogurts.
for me : chocolate dipped frozen bananas, cinnamon sugar pita chips, and any of their cheeses.
Trader joes : Chicken cilantro won tons, those microwave rice, pizza dough, cheese, salad mix, thai green curry sauce, taco mix and I'm sure way more!!!! ooh and I love the cookies!!!
Costco. skinny girl margaritas!!!
Oh, from TJs, we always have a bag of frozen turkey meatballs, a jar of sauce and a bag of pasta. great emergency dinner. or dinner to make when Ellie won't go to sleep.
and i love their frozen naan and frozen mini wheat baguettes

Oh, those frozen mini baguettes are awesome!
We also like the frozen bell peppers, and the orange chicken is good in a pinch.

I also don't shop TJs much, but when I do, I get the mini cheese ravioli for the kids (in the dried pasta section), they have a great low fat cheese selection, pita crackers
Costco: rotisserie chicken (put it in salads, or just eat for a meal), wine
Trader Joes: organic string cheese, freeze dried fruit, fruit sauce crushers, organic yogurt squeezers, organic milk, organic cottage cheese, organic mini peanut butter sandwich crackers, organic wheat and corn tortillas, frozen steel cut oatmeal. frozen whole grain waffles, frozen mango, bananas, pineapple...
Costco: More and more organic offerings at Costco lately, which I LOVE since we try to do mostly organic. Organic meats (chicken breast and ground beef), organic eggs, organic whole fat plain yogurt, chobani greek yogurt, organic raspberries and grapes, organic pasta sauce, cliff kidz bars, organic raisins, snack size bags of freeze dried fruit, wheat bagel thins, Amy's Spinach & Cheese pizzas and bean burritos, organic pasta sauce, organic frozen berries and mixed vegetables with edamame, Alvarado St. Sprouted Wheat Bread, organic hummus singles
Trader Joes:
*warning, we live off of Trader Joes Frozen section*
frozen turkey meatballs (on the days I don't cook, DS loves those for lunch), Frozen Multi grain waffles, Frozen steel cut otameal, Frozen artichoke hearts for various things, pizza dough, salad mixes, cheeses, Frozen brown rice is a staple we ALWAYS have in the house, Thai pasta salad (my fave thing to take for lunch), frozen glutten free mini pancakes, Mediterainian Hummus, multi grain pita chips, and if we have a party I load up on their sparkling cranberry juice to make cocktails with.
Costco, I have been disappointed in lately and haven't found anything great with the exception of their fish tacos awhile back. We just go so infrequently now since it seems like the one I go to is always out of the few things I want.
