So if you divide 40 weeks by 1/3, then I would be third trimester. some moms round up to 27 weeks, and some moms consider third trimester at 28 weeks. Where do I go? Am I third or stick in second for another few days? It just seems so real a baby is coming at the sound of third trimester...

lol! yes, I suppose second tri is a little more innocent in that respect. I may consider myself at that point but may just stick with my second trimester gals. I kind of like a few in there anyway!
I'm more of a lurker, but this being my 3rd.... I've heard about mucus plugs and contractions enough that I can block them out (early c-sections due to GD so I never lost my MP and only had mild contractions when they tried to induce me with #1). And I've been tired of being KU this time almost since 10 weeks or so....
So, I'm lurking here now. I'm over the "team blue/pink" posts anyway.
I like reading about 3rd trimester more than 2nd just to know what's around the corner!
Mathematically, I'm now 3rd trimester -- Woohoo!
LOL!! I felt uncomfortable on the 3rd tri board for a while as well. I have much preferred my month board.
Hahaha I feel that way too! I found that, towards the end of the 1st tri, I stopped reading 1st tri stuff and started lurking on 2nd tri, because I just felt so beyond the hcg questions, new symptoms, etc. By 14 weeks I felt like I'd been pregnant forever. Now, I'm starting to feel that way about 2nd tri. The gender posts, the half-way there posts, the "Houston we have movement!" posts...it just feels so long ago, and I don't mean it in a snobby way, but I'm mentally past that. I was obsessing over those things 2 months ago, and now my mind is looking towards the end.
I'm 27 weeks tomorrow, and though I think of the 3rd tri as starting at 28 weeks, I'm lurking there now (well, and posting this I guess...) because it's where I feel more comfortable. If you (OP) straddle both 2nd and 3rd tri, I don't think anyone is going to kick you off either board, just go where you're comfortable!
