CD stash pics
I went through all my CDs over the weekend to see what else I need to get. I definitely want more fitteds, those are by far my favorites and the prints are adorable! I also need some wool soakers/longies and some more wetbags. My mom is making me cloth wipes and a bunch of hemp inserts as well.
I prepped half the stash and the GMD prefolds took FOREVER so if you have those, boil them so that you only have to wash/dry them once!

OP- nice stash!! Makes me want to take pics of mine, but DH might think I'd totally lost if he walked into the room while I was snapping pics- haha! I just found someone to do a custom USMC fitted for me, I'm so excited to get it!!! But then I need to get on the wagon- the only thing I'm allowed to buy before the baby is born is some more prefolds and a few workhorses from GMD.
You got some good deals! I think the most expensive ones I got were the Lil Joeys ($25 for two with free shipping) and the rest were $12 and under each, most of them new. I only buy when there are good deals!
DH doesn't even bat an eye....if I needed him, he'd be right there stacking the diapers so that I can get good shots!
I want to do a few customs as well. I need a Yankees diaper (it just sucks that they don't make knit fabric anymore with team logos) and a Bulldog one.

I have a question for you actually.
I bought some of those BG 4.0 AIOs without the inserts. I bought some inserts off the site, but i realized I don't know if I lay them on the top inside so they are touching the baby's skin or if I should stuff them in the pocket area of the diaper.
PS can you please come to D.C. and teach me everything. ha ha
You can't put microfiber against baby's skin, it will cause a rash. If you have cotton, bamboo, or fleece then you can lay that on top of the microfiber to prevent that. For BGs, I'd just stick the insert in the pocket. If you need extra absorbency, hemp is supposed to be extremely absorbent and is really thin. You can put that behind the microfiber insert in the pocket, but I don't think we have to worry about that til they are older!
Thanks! I am starting to think of you as my CD guru. Ha ha. I feel like these diapers come with a surprising lack of instruction. I mean it is not like they are super complicated but I just want some instructions to back up my own thoughts about how things should work.
