If you are sleeping on your back, is there a pillow behind your knees? If you're on your side most of the night you can also try putting it between your knees. My hips are a lot worse if I don't elevate one or the other at night. Feel better!
I sleep on my sides with a body pillow in between my legs. I just go back and forth all night long. Im never that I know of on my back. Do you think I need more pillows for support then just the one im using?
I get this two and have made a connection that it has more to do with how I am sitting during the day... crossing my legs, leaning to one side etc. I imagine it's because the ligaments are loosening up and sitting or laying in one position makes a pregnant woman really sore. Plus the changes in weight distribution etc. yoga and stretching has really helped me. I sleep with a pregnancy pillow at night, mostly on my left side.

I'm thinking it's normal from what I read in magazines and books. I wonder if there's some other cure for this other than putting a pillow between my knees and elevating my hips...

OH YES! I actually called my docs today since it has been hurting and driving me crazy! They told me it's because there is so much pressure from my belly on the bones to try a support belt and sleeping with pillows to help hold your belly up.
