Do you just hold your baby and let them explore the water? Are they too young for floaty type things? (obviously i would still hold on to her)

Ds fit pretty well in it.
Plus it folds up into a small bag so easy to carry and the cover is great too!
I just hold DD- she screams bloody murder if I try to put her into any kind of float.
ETA- DD loves the water, otherwise- splashing, jumping if she's on the step, etc. She just doesn't enjoy the floats I bought her.
