I can't wait until we move

Not sure if you guys know, but we're moving at the end of the summer.  Russ has been working in a tiny northern town every week since Elyse was born.  Elyse and I are moving up at the end of the summer when our house is finished (we're building).  

Last week he couldn't go because the highway washed out, so he was home with us all week.  It was so wonderful.  We had time to talk in person, watch "our" TV shows, snuggle, play with Elyse, eat dinners as a famiy and just be normal.  

He had to leave this morning and I'm feeling so sad, it's like I feel homesick.  I miss him for me and for Elyse.   

Our summer is about to get busy with camping, weddings etc, so I hope it will fly by.  Me and Elyse are going up there next week so spend some time with him.  I just can't wait until we live in the same town!!

    I knew that Russ traveled a lot but I didn't realize that you guys were apart quite that much :(   I hope everything goes smoothly w/the building of your new home so you can move up there asap :) and like you said, hopefully you will stay busy so that the time goes by quickly!

    I feel your pain. Sad I knew living separately would be hard, but it's been tougher than I anticipated. I miss just doing silly family stuff together! 

    I hope everything goes smoothly and your house is done before you know it!

    NJ, it's much harder now that I'm pregnant that's for sure!!  I'm interested in how the move is going to go when I'm 7 months PG.  Luckily we'll have movers!
