I checked out the new style of Pack n' plays when I was buying diapers for Grace. That is the beginning and the end of my preparation thus far.

My H bought a pair of baby Nike's when we first found out and that is our only purchase so far. I will be waiting until he gets home from deployment to buy much of anything so he can be involved.

Haven't bought a thing. Have some color ideas in my head. We have a girls name and a short list for boy names. We are waiting to see what baby is before we put any thoughts into action. Also going to try and wait for baby showers before buying so we are only buying necessities.

The furniture has been bought, the bedding is on its way. We have a few books for the baby, a few toys, a collection of diapers and wipes going, a few cute outfits I couldn't pass up, and we have our names picked out. (We find out the sex in two weeks) We've been doing little by little. I'm not one to depend on gifts from people and I don't want to wait till the last minute to do anything. I'm a big believer in pacing myself and getting stuff done here and there.

When DH and I found out it was a girl we went and bought a "going home" outfit. To be honest, that's all we have done. We are moving in mid august so I won't be doing anything else until after then. And it's an apartment so I can't paint; I'll probably find some cute wall hangings and etc for the girls' room (DD is 5).

We have a girl name and a maybe boy name. I have also found the stroller/playpen/high chair collection that I want (for either a boy or a girl). And I've registered for birthing classes (does that count?). All I've bought is a onsie so far though!!

We haven't done much of anything, waiting to find out what it is and then I think we will start to pick names and furniture. I have gotten a couple things onsies, etc, from family they can't seem to resist, which is ok by me.

Hmmm...I have bought a crib and DH and I have decided on a green color for the nursery, no matter the sex of the baby. That's about it. I haven't even really started researching things such as a car seat and stroller. I think part of the reason is that this doesn't exactly seem really real yet. I am not really showing and we still don't know the sex of the baby. We find out later this month so maybe that will spur me to get a move on it

We are waiting to find out what it is before going crazy, the nursery is currently being used and needs to be cleaned out and honestly it just seems like a ton of work so we've been putting it off.

Not much to be honest .. once we find out the gender I'll start with paint colours and all that fun stuff. We're picking up a new crib this week .. it's a brand new unused crib that was the floor model in a baby furniture store and we got a great deal on it .. this is our last so we didn't want to go out and buy a brand new one so this was a great find for us! We dont need much since this is our third .. just some winter clothes and a new playpen and of course new bedding! As for names .. we've had to change our boy name from one I LOVE but I think we're pretty much set now and have one picked out for each.. I don't THINK they will change

We bought the crib, car seat, and stroller, and have a ton of hand-me-down clothes. The baby won't get a nursery in this house, since we move to Germany within a few months of the birth, so no decorating necessary. We have frontrunner names for both a girl and a boy, but will probably wait to finalize those until birth.

DH and I have started cleaning all of the stuff out of the babies room and have bought a pack and play, bassinet, travel bassinet and a few onsies. We also have a lot picked out depending on gender as well as names picked out.

We changed DD's crib to a toddler bed, to start getting her ready to be out of the crib for the baby, but that's all we've done so far. H won't even talk names until after the a/s at the end of the month. I do however have an overwhelming feeling of the baby's sex and what the name is. We'll find out in a few weeks if I'm right and if H will be on board with the name.

Nothing!

But, this is my second pregnancy, so we have all the gear. Plus we are in the process of trying to sell our house and having twins on the way was a big motivation for doing so. Our little 900 sq ft bungalow would be pretty crowded with 3 kids.

I've bought a few things here and there, although we haven't picked out any names for sure yet. I think my husband wants to wait until we know what the baby is. We have been working on one really big thing though: The nursery. My husband is out of the country for several weeks, so my mom and I decided to work on the nursery for the last few weekends. It's mostly done now as of this weekend. It's completely painted, we put up molding, tore out carpet (we have wood floors underneath), painted furniture, sewed bedding, sewed new cushions for my glider, and built shelves for the closet. We saved the best for last though: the mural. Just started it last night! Every time I go in that room now, I just want to stay there. It's so beautiful! Happy nesting ladies!

Nursery is painted (we are finding out, but are doing a modern, neutral color scheme. We have the bedding, but it's still in the bag. We ordered our crib and mattress, but don't have it yet. Our MIL bought our glider and it's en route to our home now. Should have it by the end of this week. I might put together the storage until we bought from Target because I am bored.

I'm a teacher, so I want to get as much as I can done in the summer. The beginning of the school year is my 3rd tri, and it's hectic enough without being pregnant! I'm hoping to get most of the nursery done by the beginning of September so I don't have to do it during school.

We've had a boys name for ages, but are no where close to coming up w/ a girls name. (Our a/s isn't until the end of this month - so we don't know yet if we'll even need the girls name). As far as purchases goes... I just made my first baby purchase today. Yay! I went to BRU and got the Graco DuoDiner high chair. My cousin is coming from Ireland for a visit w/ her DD, so I wanted to have it here before she arrived, so they can use it.

weve cleaned out the nursery and its now ready to be painted. we are going with a yellow that matches the bedding we picked which is neutral since we arent finding out if its a boy or girl. we have tossed names around a bit as well. We havent purchased anything yet. Im starting to get antsy!!! We did decide on CD this time and we will be starting our stash soon!

Nursery painted; nursery mural finished; crib assembled; dresser/changing table assembled; glider ordered; bedding ordered; window treatments ordered; nursery closet remodeled/organized; nightstand, hamper, baby monitor, stroller, stroller-umbrella, & some baby books, toys, cloth diapers, and clothing purchased; crib tent has arrived (but is not yet assembled); DH ordered high end HD video camcorder & accessories; started filling out baby memory book; started Hypnobabies; read/ing "What to Expect: the 1st Year" & "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding"; 1st names chosen;

I think that's everything thus far...

a big fat nothing...

I've started a list of girl's names to go over with DH, and I bought a onesie when I was in Ireland last week - but more as a souvenir then as baby preparation...

After I get back from the states next month we'll probably start doing some serious prepwork for this little one!
