Cheap twin bed sets, who haz dem? :)

I'm looking for a twin set for Miss M to have at Grandma's house.  Since it will only be for the occassional sleep over/nap here and there it doesn't have to be spectacular quality.  Any hints on a good place to look?  I'd like at least a frame, foundation and mattress but if there's a cute headboard type action included that'd be nice too.   :)

  • If it's for Grandma's house, I'd buy a twin bed headboard/frame from Craigslist and then a mattress from Mattress Depot or similar type store.  You can probably get something off ebay for $50 and a decent mattress for under $100...

  • I'm not sure if they would be considered inexpensive in relation to CL, but Ikea is always a great place to look.

  • craigslist or ikea (or ikea off of craigslist). My kids have ikea beds off CL and we just use futon mattresses (we like the cotton ones) we ended up spending under $150 for each. You can always just pick up a metal twin bed frame (the metal ones with wheels) for cheap too.

  • Ikea has some cute beds.

Another thought is that sometimes Costco has bed sets.
