  Nothing new to report.  I'm still feeling good though I get tired if I run around with DS too much.  Oh and we really need to get in gear and clear out the spare room and start putting together the nursery for DS #2.

  Nothing exciting here. I had my doctor's appointment Friday. I gained 13 lbs in a month but I've been told by other EFFers that during that time period (end of 2nd tri) it's pretty common. L is measuring big so at my next appointment in 2 weeks we'll do a growth scan.

  Miles (6 year old Maine C00n mix), Boots (5 year old Lab mix), Darla (4 year old GSD/Collie mix), Frankie (1.5 year old DSH mix), Peanut (15 months old - 09/11), and Bean (arriving Feb 2013).

  we have our first appt with the Birthing Center today and i'm nervous. i get ridiculously nervous before every check up, convinced there's something wrong, even though i have no reason to think so. i know they have a doppler machine there, and i would assume they'll use it to check the heartbeat, but if they don't, i'm going to HAVE to ask for them to, or else i'll spend the next however many weeks convinced the baby is in distress or worse. why does my brain do this??

  My doctor listens to the HB at every appointment. I love it. Even though I *know* the baby is fine, it makes me feel better when she listens to the doppler and isn't worried

  I'm sure it'll go great today I'll keep my *fingers crossed* that they listen to it to put your mind at ease!

  We had our 2nd appt yesterday! OB brought in the Doppler, but couldn't find the hb after a few minutes of searching, so she recommended and u/s. She seemed slightly worried, so we went with it and got to see our wiggly bean! Baby was measuring on time and was jumping and kicking like crazy! HB was 178, which she said was high, but might be because of the movement! Next appt is at 14 weeks!
