Ummm.. what?! How odd. And a little unnerving.
What do I even make of this?
Re: Strange email from our HOA... WTH?
That is really unnerving.
Maybe she could go love on the kitties at the SPCA or Town Lake shelter who need the attention and affection instead of lurking around your neighbourhood.
There's a woman in my mom's neighborhood who feeds stray/feral cats, and also catches them and gets them fixed. (And then tries to get them adopted? Not sure on all the details.)
Anyway, she feeds the cats on the edge of a wooded area, not on someone's property. I think it's really strange that someone would put food on another homeowner's porch!

There are rescue organizations that do this sort of thing (Central Texas Feline Rescue is one: https://centraltexasfelinerescue.org/)
It's possible that the mysterious cat feeder has an arrangement with the person whose front porch she feeds cats on - otherwise, that's kind of bizarre.
I think the family who has found bowls with different food on their porch is the family who reported them to HOA.

That's strange. Maybe she thought they weren't being fed and wanted to point out to the owners that they needed to be? But, it seems as if that were the case they wouldn't be the type of people to report her.
So odd.
Dang it! I've been spotted. (I have a gray Element.)
That is really creepy. Who the heck would do something like that? And I assume at least one person has been home at the houses where she left food on the porch? I would freak my freak if I saw someone randomly leaving stuff like that on my front porch. I'd probably call the police and have them check it out. Yes, I'm paranoid.
