Secretary lied. They didn't mail it parcel post. It was first class. She was just trying to cover up the fact that they didn't mail it until Thursday evening rather than Monday. After all that waiting, I will not be mailing that letter in with my insurance appeal. It was five sentences, and every sentence mentioned that I was doing IVF and ended up in the hospital because of a known consequence of IVF. So not helpful! That office is ridiculous!

Oh yes, she said she would write something in my favor to help me with the appeal. I sent them the relevant provision the insurance company was using to deny my claim hoping that they could work off of that. I think they are trying to cover themselves, so they don't get sued by writing all about how it is a known risk. Ummmm, maybe if you helped me a little, I wouldn't want or need to sue. I am so glad I waited a month for that awesome letter.

What a$$holes. They are totally trying to cover their asses. I'm so sorry.
If you lose with your insurance, I would sue the RE for the cost of the bill.

OP, can you maybe pm me the RE you are dealing with or post it if you don't care that everybody knows? I live around Saint Louis and will see an RE in august (if this pregnancy doesn't make it, which it probably will not since my hcg levels are horrible)...I already made an appointment with one of the fertility centers but now I'm nervous it's the one you are having issues with.
Thanks a bunch if you could do that for me
