I feel so frustrated about this and wondered maybe the bumpie have some brilliant ideas...
I have a wonder 21 month old son. I have every Friday off and would love to do some sort of activity to meet other moms on Friday. However, I can't find anything. Nada. I am not averse to do something on the weekend in the fall, but in the summer we travel so much it would be hard. There are nothing! Any ideas of where to look? I have actually thought about doing a meet up....the only ones I have seen are very big and require you to committ to going to activities.

Hi,
I don't know of anything mommy and me that is specifically on Friday, but look into the libraries (because all the branches have storytime on different days). Or maybe consider joining the ymca, or at least looking to see if they have any classes you would be interested in taking with DS. Not sure where you are in Syr, but there is a MOPS group at Eastern Hills in Manlius, but I think they meet on Wednesdays.
TinyPinkBug is another Syr mom on the board and she's tried all of the meet-ups, so you could page her specifically about that.
And we're trying to plan a Syr get together soon, because it seems like there are a lot of new moms from this area on the board. Hope that helps a little.
