which diapers have lines that change color when wet?

We had NB size Huggies and Pampers diapers with a line down the front and back that changed colors when dirty. The last time we ran out of those we started using some size 1's (Huggies and Luv's) people had gifted us, but neither one seems to change color when wet.

We really liked being able to just look at the diaper and see if it was dirty without trying to peek inside...does anyone know of a size 1 or larger diaper that has this feature? TIA!

i *think* the pampers swaddlers have them up to size 2. the lines are convenient, but you can also tell by feel. once the gel beads are wet, you can feel the squishiness. no need to take diaper off to check.

We have Sawddlers Sensitive size 1 and they have them. For some reason, I remember hearing they have to be the sensitive ones??

It's the swaddler diapers for both huggies and pampers that have the line.

we have used pampers sensitive swaddlers and now regular swaddlers and both have the line.

We have size 1-2 in Pampers Swaddlers and one large box had the line and another one did not. I'd tend to agree with pp-just do it by feel, or peek or smell for poop.

I think this too. Our regular Swaddlers dont but the sensitive did.

I think it might depend on when you bought them. I had a box of NB Huggies Pure & Natural that I bought months before DD was born that did not have the line, but the two boxes I bought after she was here did. New feature, I guess. It says right on the box that they have them, so check the boxes when you shop.

They dont all have lines. I have never seen a diaper with a line after size two. Im pretty sure those lines are for training the parents lol

I'd stick with the feel/smell routine rather than relying on the stripes. We had some Huggies ones that wouldn't change when DD was wet. After an hour of trying to figure out why she was screaming (we'd been relying on the unchanged stripe and assuming her diaper was clean), we actually checked and she was soaked. There were a few other instances also where the stripe didn't change.

Or the opposite. I swear sometimes the stripes of the Pampers sensitive diapers change with the tiniest amount of moisture. Many times I changed a pretty dry diaper.
