DH built the crib (toddler bed), shelves and toy box that you can see in these pictures. The shelf is sized so that a standard changing pad fits on top of it.
Our kids will share a room, so DH is building a matching loft-bed for DD - the stairs leading up to the bed will have small drawers in them for added storage.

A Little Bird and a Monkey Butt
We are using an old dresser, ottoman, a hand-me-down changing table, and purchased an IKEA Poang chair. The crib is our next purchase, probably in dark wood from wherever we can find a good deal. : )

It's at the store, we need to pick it up. Baby bargains gave it an A rating and customer reviews are close to 5 stars (I think the 5th star is all colored in except one point)
We purchased our furniture from a local store called Babyland. It's made by Ragazzi and it's the Pompei collection. We bought the convertible crib, dresser, nightstand, and mirror so we can use this as her furniture for many years. (Sorry the pics are a little hard to see with the white on white)

I'm keeping my eyes open for a darker wood end table that will work in the room. Teak end tables are in there now, but I'm giving them to my parents for use in their new beach condo. There's also a light green couch that was in the room back when it was a guest room.
Changing table is one we're moving from DS's room and was purchased on ebay.
Chest of drawers is one that goes with our own bedroom furniture but doesn't fit in our tiny master. It's in DS's room, but we're doing away with most of his furniture and putting shelves in his closet and LO#2 will get the chest.
Chair is a Lazy Boy that was on clearance because the fabric had been discontinued. Best $196 we've ever spent! Also being moved from DS's room
Crib we bought this weekend on zulily. It's the Davinci Emily in cherry and is on sale for $150

This is all we needed since this is our third child (both of my daughters used a family member's crib that's now in another state and it's a drop side crib to boot so we just bought a new one). We bought it with a 20% off coupon. It seems sturdy, DH put it together rather quickly, and it matches the dresser we already had. What else can you ask for?
Ahh!! We were thisclose to buying that furniture, too!! I really like the tall dresser that comes with it, but we don't have room in our nursery for all three pieces so we went with this from BuyBuyBaby.
We only got the crib and dresser/hutch. Love it!
