*cross posting on an older/wiser board!
I say 'crutches', in that you use them to get them to sleep because it's 99% of the time a no-fail-method. But they ain't falling to sleep on their own, in their crib! With DS I took A LOT of short little car rides on bumpy roads.. gas was cheaper back then! And it was easy when it was just him to deal with. And I had no idea about babywearing.
Now I have 3 different ways to babywear (2 slings/and my Ergo) and MY LORD is DD a sucker for it. She passes out cold every time. So, 2 of her naps per day are in the Ergo/sling (which is fine, bc we're on the go a ton w/my son).. and 1 is in our bed, I side-lie nurse her. If she wakes up after an hour, I nurse/soothe and she's back down for sometimes another hour or more.
All the times I've tried to put her in the crib/transfer her when she's already out, she wakes up 15 min later. Not cool!
So, no naps are really on her own, in her crib. But, she IS only 2 months old, so I really don't think I should be too worried just yet.
What do you think? thanks!
