thinking ahead - household....partly nesting....

I am just going crazy I think.....!

but thinking ahead fall is super busy for us. my girls will be back in school 8/22, we go to all the home Gator games (2 1/2 hr drive), dd's bday is halloween, then tgiving and xmas, plus dh and dd both play softball, so practice and multiple games per week...yikes!!

I am trying now to get the house in order - organized, etc. would like to do a big shopping trip late august - get groceries and toiletries stocked up...have some meals prepared and frozen and get the crock pot ready to go. I am so thankful that I will be off for the majority of the fall....!!

trying to think of other things I can do to be better prepared....

I hear ya!! We're looking into purchasing an extra fridge in anticipation of fewer (bigger) trips to the grocery store!

I was totally overwhelmed last year when my oldest started Kindergarten. Lots of new things to do/worry about. I'm kinda nervous about having my daughter starting Kindergarten and my son starting 1st grade right when the baby's coming. I feel like I'm the student and I'm going to be the one in trouble for forgetting things! My "baby" will be starting Preschool 9/6, too! Nuts!

    Good luck!

  • And maybe purchase a mommy clone?  I'm impressed!

  • Maybe get birthday and Christmas presents in advance and wrap them? My dad's b-day is right around my due date and my mom's shortly after that, so I might actually send them presents in August or early September so I know they have them before I have the baby.
