(xp 3-6) - convertible carseat size?

What size convertible carseat did you buy and why? I see that the Britax Marathon comes in 55,65,70 (pounds). I'm just wondering if it is worth the extra $55 to get the bigger one. I mean, will my LO be in a different kind of seat by the time they are that big anyhow?

    I think it depends on how big your baby is now. DD is 10.5 months and still only about 16 lbs. By the time she's 70 lbs I'd imagine she'll be too old for a convertible car seat.

    We have the Evenflo Triumph 65. It will allow her to be RF'ing until 40lbs and FF'ing with the 5 pt harness until 65.
