I have been avoid ALL dairy while BFing my son- his RAST came back negative for dairy and soy protiens but he has considerable amounts of blood in his stool and for now the GI wants me to avoid soy as well for 3 weeks to see if there a difference for DS. (oh and my DD has severe food allergies so we are basing this off of family history and as a precationary) I already have a limited diet with the dairy and have been cooking dairy free for the past 2 years so Im pretty comfortable and educated when it comes to allergies but soy is throwing me for a loop- any recommendations of foods (packaged)- we have the basics of "butter" "cheese" and "milk" that are dairy and soy free but Im looking for quick foods that I can make or buy, even eat out at resturants (I know thatll be slim). Any suggestions or advice... ?
