DD is getting clever about her allergy

DD is 2.5 with a dairy allergy. We often refer to things she cannot eat as having moo-moos in them. Today the store she pointed to some cookies and said " me eat those cookies mama. Cookies have no moo-moos". It was cute, and kind of pitiful.

    Yes it is a little bit sad, but its good, it means that you're taking about her allergies with her in a way she can understand and internalize.  Good Job Mama!

    We actually role play with food a lot since DD is pretty into her play kitchen and toy food. I really hope she will be good at monitoring herself as she gets older.
