Linus has a fake cry

Does anyone else's LO do this? He has his actual cries obviously, but he has this pitiful little "wah" that's really like him just saying wah if that makes sense. It doesn't sound like a cry but sounds like a word. He'll just look at you and let out this short little "wah"- doesn't raise his voice, no sad or mad face, no tears, or even flailing around... just this serious expression on his face like "hey pay attention to me". As soon as you look at him he'll smile or start babbling.

    Julian does this too. Usually a simple "Hey cutie pie" will get a smile out of him and he'll stop.

    Yes! This goes along with the "fake cough" I was talking about earlier :-) Who knew they were so complex so early? Seriously! I had no idea.

    Yes, Jaycob does this too. He will do his fake cry and I will say in a joking tone,"You little faker" and he will stop "crying" and have a big cheesy smile. LOL

    Yup. Scarlett does it more than Nadia. Just like Linus, she has a "wah" cry that gradually gets louder and louder until I pick her up. The second I do, she stops and is then all smiles.

    Andrew does this, too. It's a short little yell, like "Hey! Pay attention to me!"

    Haha, Bailey does this too. It's this adorable little "meh" as in, "I'm bored and feel the need to 'cry'".

    Funny!! Jack will kind of do this but will start to smile in between. It's like he thinks it's so funny and he's tricking us.
