I'm so tired of...

doctors appointments. Edmund is 2 months now and he has already had 8 doctors appointments. And between now an the 26th of September he has 17 more plus one surgery. I know that this is what is best for him it is just so hard to see him go through so much.

I think part of it is the commute from our home to Seattle Children's. We have to be there early in the morning which means getting up at the crack of dawn just to get down to to the ferry early enough to make sure that we don't miss the ferry. The 7:55am ferry gets us to Children's at 9am, an hour before our appointment. If we were to miss that one the next isn't until 8:45 and that doesn't leave enough of a cushion for me to feel comfortable in case of an accident on the interstate.

This time next year seems so far away I just really want it to be here now sometimes because then all of this will be behind us. His lip will be healed and his palate will have been closed.

I am sorry just remember each appointment brings you closer to the end of all of this for Edmund. I would feel the same way as you though. Big HUGS!!!

Poor little guy (and you!). So sorry that you have to go through this, but my mantra through tough times is "This too shall pass". Knowing it's not forever helps me get through whatever sucky thing I am going through. **hugs**
