Hrm (vent)

So, we just got home from visiting the inlaws in PA. My SIL is pregnant. Not that she told me, but that I could tell... napped alot, swollen boobs, 8 week bloat. I casually asked how they were doing in that area (they were on the not actively preventing train) and she gave me some vague answer about her cycle being long. She didn't confirm, but she went out of her way to not lie and deny it. No biggie, they can tell people they are expecting when they want.

 (A side note, my husband was helping his mom clean out the basement and they had a discussion about a rocking horse. He said that BIL & SIL can have it, it will be a few years though. MIL hemmed and hawed, and DH told her that I picked up on the pregnancy as soon as I saw SIL. MIL confirmed the pregnancy, but that it was a secret.)

I was just going to look at some pictures she posted on her fb page and she is now off my friends list. When I search for her, she doesn't exist.

Does this mean she closed her fb account, or managed to block me? And why would she do that? I never once said, hey, I can tell your knocked up. After that first question, I just let it be.

Hrm.

    Ugh. Sounds like she blocked you for some reason. From my understanding of FB is someone un-friends you, you can still search and find them. If blocked it's like they don't exist. It's possible that she closed her acct. How strange though.

    If you want to tell one of us her name, we could search her and see if she's searchable... that's how you'd know if she deleted her account or not.

    Weird. It's not like you "outed" her or anything like that. If anyone should be un-friended for you knowing that your SIL is pregnant, it's your MIL. I'm curious to see if she's found on FB or not. For the record, I didn't think you were being nosy or rude or anything else worth un-friending/blocking.

    Your SIL is wack, you did nothing that should have elicited a reaction like that.  I am also very curious to know the outcome of the Facebook search!

    I did a FB search and she didn't come up.  So she might have deleted her whole account.   Or else she's hiding from the whole world.  :)

    I have an ex friend I FB stalk from time to time. She has everything set to private, so all I can see is her photo. Recently, I can't find her on a search. I've tried and tried. BUT, if I go to her moms FB page, there she is on her friends list. So give a mutual friend a try to see if she shows up on a friend list.
