I feel the same way. I had a mini breakdown about it this morning (mostly over the ever-shedding dog -- a husky-chow mix -- my dyson and I can't keep up). I counted how many times I wiped down the kitchen table and counter tops the other day, and it was at least 6. It never ends!

This is how I feel about the cat hair!

I feel the same way, and it's wearing me down. Between picking up, cooking/serving meals and cleaning the kitchen three times a day, doing the laundry and the 560million other things that have to be done on a daily basis, I have zero time to actually spend one-on-one with my kids. It makes me crazy.
Like Dana I've lowered my standards, but just doing the bare minimum seems to suck up every minute of the day.
It is hard and I don't think you're whining. I'm sorry to say it doesn't get much better (although now Ben will help a little). I agree with everyone else though. I just have to say to myself that I'm doing the best I can. Down the road when Ben is all grown up, I'll be wishing for the mess again.

Re: I feel like all I do is clean and straighten up.
