I don't think she killed her on purpose. I think she drugged her so she could go out and party hoping that she would just stay asleep. Then came home and she was dead so she dumped her body. I think she is a horrible person and should be in jail for the rest of her life or death penalty. SO yes I think she is guilty.

I don't think she killed her on purpose. I think she is truly mentally ill and has no recollection of it. Maybe when she realized her kid was gone she thought "God answered her prayers" or something along those lines and that's why she was out partying so much.

And her parents seem just as mentally ill.

I have been following this case since Nancy Grace first reported. I think she is completly guilty. I think she killed her daughter on purpose. I think she is a complete sociopath. I dont think there was anyway that Caylee's death was an accident because I mean its a death penalty case and she knows that. If it were an accident why not cop to it and try to work out a plea deal (expect I doubt the prosecution could believe her now since she has lied about everything forever).

People dont work so hard to cover up an accident...even if she did initially freak out and dispose of the body...she could have made things right during the investigation but she didnt. And they gave her every chance to say it was an accident! This whole accidental drowning defense just appeared out of thin air during defense's opening statements.

Just my opinion...well my mom's too since we've been following the trial and talk it over when we get the chance.

Even if she didn't kill her on purpose, her poor baby was dead and she STILL was out partying and carrying on after the fact. That's gotta make her guilty of something at least. And I always wondered, if you hadn't seen your granddaughter for over a month, wouldn't you have made a bigger deal about that? I mean I know Casey kept giving them the run around....but still!

How were they able to find an unbiased jury? I didn't pay attention to the jury selections so I probably missed the discussion they had on TV about it. But it just seems like it would be hard to find people who live in Orlando who know little to nothing about the case.

This. I don't think people like her should get the death penalty. It's an easy way out for them. I think that people like her should live in a prison system where the guards turn their back as she gets the crap beaten out of her, or she lives with someone who is a sadistic serial killer. So that way, she is afraid day in and day out, until she dies.

This is what I think too. Yeah, I don't even think her lawyer believes her. And clearly her parents don't either. This whole drowning thing is almost laughable. I wonder if she has started to believe her own lies. She seems like a sociopath.

She won't do well in prison anyway. There are mothers in prison and they don't think too highly of baby killers either.

This. I think it was some kind of accident/neglect. I don't necessarily think she meant to kill her, but did something stupid that made her die. My thinking is, if it were a pure accident, why would she be hiding it? Who does that? Children die from accidents all the time and their parents don't feel the need to hide what happened. Something is definitely fishy. And I don't buy the whole "my father molested me" thing. That is no excuse to be a liar and murder/accidentally kill your child.

I think it was shaken baby (yes, I know Caylee was two-ish) or she left her in a hot car while she got drunk or something else stupid while she was drunk. But I also think she has mental issues and believes her own lies. I think her parents helped her with the cover up once they learned the truth.

For real. I don't think she will get death (too much reasonable doubt) but I think they will eventually kill her in prison. The whole case is insane. I think the parents made the first mistakes. They are nuts.

The jury selection process took a really long time (like a full week or 2 I think). They pulled the jurors from Clearwater, which is about an hour and a half away from Orlando. I live near Clearwater, and I am amazed that they were able to find an unbiased jury down here!

I think she is absolutely guilty and it was premeditated. I think George had an affair but wasn't a part of Caylee's passing. I believe she deserves the death penalty but I don't believe she'll get it. Stick her in a solitary cell covered in pictures of Caylee alive and Caylee's remains for the rest of her life. If she is convicted, she'll have a good appeal case because her legal team has done an insufficient job.
