Holy engorgement, Batman!

Jared and I went out last night for the first time without Liam. His band had a gig about 45 minutes away, and I kept debating whether or not to bring the pump along. (So far, I've only pumped at home and wasn't sure if I'd pump in the car, in the restaurant/nightclub bathroom, or what, if I brought the pump.) I figured that ladies whose LO's are STTN go at least as long without feeding or pumping as I'd be doing.

My boobs weren't exactly killing me when we picked up Liam from the sitter's and got home, but I knew it would definitely feel good to pump. (Liam was still asleep at that point.) I pumped 13 OUNCES. Is that crazy?

I guess that's why they're called "jugs," huh?

    My pump broke last week and while I was waiting for a replacement piece I used the manual attachment that came with my pump.  I LOVE IT!  I use it more than the electric pump now.  When we go out I put it in the diaper bag or my purse and I can pump on the go.  It is a life saver.
