Working moms: What "activities"/entertainment/learning does your daycare do with your LO

So we have DD in a home daycare but there are a few reasons I'm not sure if we will keep her there. One reason is I don't know how much interaction or learning or activities she does with the kids and i know the larger "chain" daycare's claim that they have structured programs for all ages. I'm curious...what does your daycare do with your LO's?

  • We are at a center but the infant rooms aren't structured. They have various toys and activity mats that they rotate the kids through. They do tummy time and interact with the babies but there is really no structure. Our center also does sign language but I don't know at what age they really start working on that.

  • not much in the small infant room.  They rotate them around activity mats, bumbo, buncy seat, jumperoo, and they do a story and scheduled naptimes.  I am fine with it all at this young age.  The older kids seem to do more activities and projects (art, outside playtime, etc).  Our daycare is dirt cheap though ($140/week), and I like the caregivers there.  My friend who pays $350/week has stuff like water play, finger painting, and other stuff for her LO.  I can't afford $350/week, so I think I have the best setup I can afford for now.
