**KittyFX/Rosie**--yoo kid oo spout ?

Or anyone else that has the yookidoo spout toy...

How is yours holding up?  Has it broken?  Is the battery area corroded?

Our didn't work right out of the package--it wouldn't shut off.  So, we are returning it for a refund from amazon.  I've finally read the reviews and there are many 1 star reviews about how easily it just stops working.

I wanted to know if you guys have experienced anything wrong with it.

Thanks.

Re: **KittyFX/Rosie**--yoo kid oo spout ?

  • We have one but it broke after several months, this was like 6 months ago or more so I don't remember exactly.  DH and I thought it probably got submerged or something...  but it was fun while it lasted!

ETA:  I was reading the reviews on the stack n spray taytee linked and I remembered why I thought ours stopped working.  I think it was because it was turned on too often when it wasn't submerged in water.  Megan would click the  button to turn it on when she was in there washing her hands or going to the bathroom... and I think it just killed the motor.

  • We just bought one last week, and so far it has held up well.  We'll see how long it lasts!

    :-)

  • oh no, that's a bummer. We haven't had ours very long. No problems so far!

  • We've had one since Christmas and it's held up well.  I was worried about the reviews too though, so I've been super careful about not letting it get submerged and I pull it out of the tub after her bath so hubs doesn't let the shower hit it.

  • We got the one that's intended to be submerged and it rocks =) The girls have been playing with it nonstop since we got it. They didn't have the other one when we went and now I'm glad we didn't. There's no way I'd be able to keep it from getting knocked in the tub. It stops working when it gets water on/in it? That sounds like a recipe for disaster!

I didn't even know there were two different models.  I guess we must have the submersible one too, because that thing gets dunked mulitple times throughout the bath experience. He likes to see what happens when it's underwater. :)

I didn't know there were different ones.  I plan on looking at babies r us for it and not re-ordering it.

    Thanks for all the input.

  • As I've mentioned before, my IE crashes when I try to insert a picture now (which makes me really sad, I'll have to remind DH to fix it today).

The original post was for the Fill and Pour

We got the Stack N? Spray Tub Fountain

Note: The center post suction cup thing doesn't work in our tub because the bottom is textured. Funny thing with both the girls - Emily won't let go of the base but doesn't care if Abby changes out all the parts.
