Can i just scream -Sorry venting
I wish after living in California for 2 years my FIL would realize that YES there is a time difference of 3 HOURS between us and Massachusetts. Yet for some reason he still calls me at like butt crack of dawn this morning to wake me to tell me he needs DH's Social to give to this other guy to help him with military stuff...and needs it by wed. Now DH and I have talked about our plans after military etc and I now DH doesnt look for a "hand-out" or "help" in anyway when it comes to the military so I wanted to talked to him first and get his permission. SO anyways its not 5pm here and 8pm there and my FIL calls pretty much yelling at me on my voicemail saying he needs DH's social like yesterday. AHHHH my MIL (who divorced FIL like when DH was 9) said to tell him that you want to talk and get DH's permission first but I figured ignoring the call is better. But now AHHHH if he calls my mother (who lives down the street) I will scream!!!! OMG (sorry had to vent)

It's probably best to not ignore him and be upfront and honest--tell him you are checking with your H first. If you choose to ignore him (which I would want to do too), he'll keep calling...or, may call your mom? (Lame)

our general rule -- DH deals with his family, and I deal with mine. Yes, I actually love my MIL but when it comes to "doing stuff" for them, we keep our families seperate.
