Used to love this book when DD was younger. Our hospital recommended it. I love many of the chapters, but....
NOWWWW when I reread the "Sleep"chapter I feel like a horrible mother. DH and I discovered we make about 6 out of 10 mistakes in the Top Ten Sleep Mistakes Parents Make. Ugh. I feel as though DD is doing fine. She is STTN, happy, healthy, etc. Why do I let this book make me feel so bad?!?
Does anyone else feel that this book is very radical in some ways?
Re: Anybody else beginning to loathe "Baby 411" book?
First, any of these books give advice but in the end you are the parent.
This book has been a really good resource for me for feeding info, medications, illness, etc.
Don't take it so seriously. read it, take it in and do what your mommy instinct tells you. Its just a book
I agree 1000%.
