Hey all. I had my hysteroscopy done this morning so that the RE could see what they thought was scar tissue in the uterus that they had noticed when they did my HSG last month. Well, there wasn't any scar tissue, but there is an endometrial polyp right in front of the opening to the right fallopian tube, and I may have a subseptate uterus.
They scheduled me for surgery to remove the polyp on July 20th, and while they have me in the operating room knocked out they will go in from above through an incision in my belly button and one at the pubic line to see if my uterus is actually subseptic, or if it just naturally curves inward. If it is subseptic then that means another surgery to correct that. Hopefully once all this is corrected the dr will feel comfortable performing the IUI.
Re: *sigh* Had hysteroscopy today and found another problem :-(
I'm sorry, Bonnie. That sucks. Good luck in July, I hope there are no additional problems other than the polyp!
