Hi. I just found out on Sunday that my husband and I are expecting our first baby in February. I have an appt with my general doc on Wednesday to have blood work done and what not but I am looking for a good OBGYN. I have never had a seperate gyno I have always just used my primary doc. Anyone have any recs? Thanks in advance!
By the way Im Karen and Im 26. If there are any other expecting moms around my due date I would love to stay in touch over these next nine months!
Re: North County Inland OBGYN Recs
I go to Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo (just off of Carmel Mountain Road) and see Dr. Ronald Salzetti. I really like him. He made me feel comfortable with him since my first visit. He was great at listening to me and encouraged me to ask as many questions as I wanted. I also appreciated that when he gave me the info on foods to avoid while pregnant, he did say that the medical community says he had to warn me about avoiding deli meats but also mentioned in the 20+ years that he's been in the profession that he's never had one of his patients encounter any problems with deli meats.
Good luck!
