I'm guessing FB group is where all the action is, but I'm a pretty private person when it comes to message boards - out of a previous experience that was work related.

Anyone else feel the same way but feeling a little left out? I miss how it was. Boo!

i was on, and left the FB group when they announced they were deleted people for not participating or putting their name on a list. I didnt want to have to feel like i needed to post all the time to be a part of it. I dont feel like I have that much to update everyone on I guess.

I haven't been posting as much either. In the morning is pretty much the only time I get computer time. The other times I'm bumping from my iphone and it won't ever let me write comments.

I'm in the FB group, but it did get nasty there for a while, which was really disappointing. I also don't like how the deleting came to be, but there are several ladies on FB who I want to keep up with.

I hate that this board has gotten so quiet as a result.

I'm on the FB page, but not a huge fan of some of the nastiness and immaturity. I'm back at work so I can't spend all day on there like some people do so it's too hard to keep up with everything.

I *almost* gave in a created a FB account because I felt so left out. However, I have many many reasons to not be on FB, and I really don't want to give that up. So, I continue to post here, kind of more than ever because somebody has to, and I've also been posting more on the AP board.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I was just thinking this morning about how much I LOVED going through my pregnancy with all these strangers.... Bless the Internet, huh. When I talk about TB IRL, it's always, "oh my gosh, one of my friends who had a baby at the same time as me is already pg!!" or whatever. And I do feel like you April ladies are my friends.

I think it's funny how some are bitching about how nastey it got on the FB page but were a part of it like this comment:

I'll admit that I made a bitchy comment on that post, but it's pretty obvious who I am on there by my user name. That chick always irritated the piss out of me anyway.

I'm on the FB page and I don't think it's any different from here, only much quicker. There was mamabird drama but that's dead and buried.

I didn't input or vote on deleting members, but FWIW, the group jumped up like 100 members VERY quickly and everyone was concerned about strangers/lurkers reading personal information with our real names attached. The document was made to put your info on so we knew you were legit and non-posters got deleted to protect everyone.

I think legit April bumpies shouldn't have been booted whether they posted or not. But I understand why people got deleted. There was a TON of non-posters and it happened really really quickly. It was creepy.

This exactly... it went from 229 to 318 seemingly overnight...not the most comforting feeling - especially since there was only 50 or so people that were actually posting... it's fine to "lurk" on TB...but on FB with all your personal info...not OK with me and apparently a lot of others felt the same.

I readily admitted that I made a bitchy comment on that post. You will also notice that is the ONLY comment I made on that thread of 300+ posts. I didn't sit there and continue to trash her, mocking her blog and attacking her personally like a lot of people did. And I was disgusted at Kim's little "roll call" that night and stated that opinion openly. That whole thing left a bad taste for the FB page. There are some people I like to keep up with on there. Some others I can do without so I just don't say anything.

So just out of curiousity if it left a "bad taste" why are you still there? I get that you want to keep up with some people but you can do that over here. Seems a little hypocritical to say you don't enjoy something but will continue to be a part of it as a poster or a lurker. To me it seems like you are over there looking for more drama so you can judge the posters again. But thats just IMO.

Ummm... No. I was not trying to stir up drama and I wasn't a lurker. I posted and commented on people's posts. I never went back and forth posting about things from there to here and vice versa. There were lots of people that I liked and I enjoyed being able to keep up with them since most don't post here anymore. Someone took it upon themselves to remove me from the group, though, so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
