What monitor do you have?

We have the Sony 900 MHz BabyCall monitor and I'm not super happy with it.  It gets a lot feedback and static.  And if a cell phone rings or gets a text message it is really loud.  And if you actually have a conversation on a cell-that feedback is all you hear!  Even if you aren't close to the receiver.  So I think I want to get something else...

What monitor do you have and are you happy with it?

  • We actually have the same one but haven't had those feedback issues yet. Have you tried other channels?

  • I've got the Angel Care Sound and Movement Monitor. It sets an alarm off if baby stops breathing. They make one now with a video system included.

I'm using the 'clearest' channel according to the monitor but I still hate the weird feedback/crackling I hear from time to time.  :(

We don't have one at all. Surprise

Same.  He's in our room for now, and later he'll be right across the hall, so I'm pretty confident we'll hear him if he howls.  I think a monitor would just stress me out.

We have pretty much the same situation too, but I like to take my dogs outside to play and get some yard work done while he is napping, and I would like a monitor that I can rely on that isn't beeping every time another signal interferes.

  • I have a motorola video monitor that I got for a good price off of one of the deal a day websites and I LOVE it. It gives me so much peace of mind to be able to see my baby without having to go in his room and risk waking him up.

    We have the

Fisher-Price? Private Connection Monitor with Dual Receivers

no feedback, lots of channels, and not crazy expensive.

This, but we don't have the video.
