How long for bloodwork results?

i went in tuesday morning and did my glucose test, and they said they should have results in about a day. i haven't heard anything from them yet. can i assume no news is good news? or just wait until my next appt in a week and a half?

i'm actually not too worried but wasn't sure if they were supposed to call me or send me my results or whatever.

    Maybe it's like a pap and they only contact you if it's bad news.

    Mine actually took two business days... I did it on Friday and then they got back to me on Tuesday.  And if they don't contact you at all then yes, no news is good news.

    My glucose screening took 3 or 4 business days, I think. (It spanned a weekend.)  My husband is a type-1 diabetic, so we're pretty familiar with blood sugar and testing.  The funny part is, I could've brought my own glucometer and had an answer in 3 or 4 seconds.
