12, 13 or 14?

When do you think 2nd trimester starts? I am getting so many mixed answers. Some people say end of 12wks, after 13, wks or after 14wks? I always thought it was after 12 wks but now i'm not sure?

    I have seen some mixed answers as well.  I plan on moving over tomorrow as I will be 13weeks then.

    My docs say 13 weeks 3 days.  So that is what I go with. It makes sense to me since it is basically 40 weeks divided by 3.

    If you go the full 40 weeks, then 2nd Tri starts at 13w4d.

    I'll count myself into 2nd Tri at 13 weeks.

    After TTC with IR PCOS:
    April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
    Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296
    At 40w6d, our Team Green surprise came by unplanned C-section and changed our lives forever!

    I think it is technically 13w,3d if you divide it out but I will consider hitting second tri at 13 weeks.

    I'm claiming 2ndTri at 13 weeks, since that's when we'll be announcing it to the world =)

    My perinatologist told me I can't count myself in the second trimester until 14 weeks, so I am making myself wait. I understand the eagerness to jump on over to the much safer feeling 2nd tri, but if I move early I'll know in my head that I shouldn't REALLY be there yet. 12 more days and I am THERE!
